These hoop nets come with new, virtually indestructible Nyglass hoops. HNN-2010 and HNN-3011 nets come with a flat throat in the tail. All other nets have a finger type throat in the tail. All these nets have a square type throat in the front.

Setting Catfish Traps

A short introduction for those who are new to setting catfish traps: these traps should be baited and set with the open end pointed downstream or towards open water in still waters (we recommend Block Bait or cheese). It is best to soak for 2 to 3 days, when conditions allow.

For all nets over 4' order 6' leads.

Leads attached to nets — add $8.00 per net.

Leads have no floats, but may be ordered with floats. Many people buy FL-SB2 ($ 0.73), then split float to snap in on top rope.

The unique D-shaped hoops make the net sit flat on the bottom. The 24" net has a 24" wide base, approx. 18" tall, and the 30" net has a 30" wide base, and approx. 24" tall. Made with #15 netting, 1 1/2" square mesh. Treated with net coat.
