Jessie Tubbs caught this buffalo in a hoop net from Nets & More (The Fish Net Company) on Ouachita River
near Sterlington LA in March 2016. It weighed 36 lbs.
Clyde Neuville of New Iberia LA sent in this picture of a 68 lb flathead he caught in Lake Dautervine with a
net from Nets & More (The Fish Net Company).
Eddie Murray has been a commercial waterman for 27 years and a FNC costomer for roughly 6 years. Pictured below is his 7 year old granddaughter, Candance. This picture was taken on the Susquehanna River in Port Deposit, MD in 2015. They caught these fish using 4' hoop nets made with materials from FNC.
Left to right are Lee Adams, Jimmy Maier, and George Hardy of Jonesville LA. They caught this 600 pounds of
catfish in May 2015 out of Black River fishing 4 hoop nets with 5-1/2' fronts.
Rembering Bill Nelson
Bill Nelson is pictured here with a helper fishing hoop nets. They caught 2,400 pounds this trip. Picture on right is
a 90 pound yellow cat. (Sorry don't know the name of the dog.) Second row is Bill's helper Floyd with a 50 pound
yellow cat. Picture on second row right is 6 fish that weighed 200 pounds. Picture on bottom is another of Bill's
helpers with 600 pounds of box fish (slat traps). Bill was a long time customer for Nets & More (The Fish Net
Company). He will be missed.
Marksville fishermen catch a boat load of Buffalo
Dwayne Dibble of Marksville, Louisiana sent in these pictures. That is Richard Durrett holding a large bubbalo he caught running hoop nets. Picture on right is Dwayne Dibble (on left) and Richard's step son Andrew Bass (on right). That is over 7,000 lbs of buffalo they caught out of the state canal near Melville, Louisiana in March 2015. The boat is 8' wide and 26' long.
Life long fisherman
Ty Myers caught this 40 lb Opelousas Catfish (Yellow Cat) in May 2015. Ty is 14 years old and has been fishing since he was 1. This cat was caught in a hoop net out of Bayou Deloutre in Louisiana.
First time hoop netting
Michael Crawford is the Assistant Manager at Nets & More (The Fish Net Company). Michael caught these two 25 lb flathead (yellow cat) in a 4' hoop net. These fish were caught out of the Ouachita River near Jonesville, LA. Michael has been hanging around FNC ever since his father started working at FNC in March 1996. Michael started to work in sales at FNC in August 2010.
Edgar Briggs of Clofax, Louisiana sent in this nice hoop net of catfish. Edgar is a long time customer of FNC and fishes gill nets as well as hoop nets.
Potomic River Blue Cat
Reid Franklin is shown here with a nice run of blue cat out of the Potomic River in Maryland. Reid and his father
David fish 24 of these traps, running 12 one day and then the other 12 the next day. They had 1200 pounds one day
and 900 pounds the next day with 300 pounds in one trap. David said he is never going back to hoop nets. These traps
are just too easy to run.
52 lb Opelousas
Randy Williams of Farmerville, Louisiana sent in this picture of his 15 year old son who is already 6'1" tall. Shayne
is show here with a 52 lb Opelousas he caught out of a hoop net from Nets & More (The Fish Net Company).
Long time hoop net maker and fisherman
Jimmy Naquin of DeQuincy, Louisna is shown below with a nice catch of catfish. Jimmy bought hoop net supplies from
Nets & More (The Fish Net Company) to make nets for himself and other fishermen in the DeQuincy area for years
and years.

Red River Flathead
Jeremy Douthit (on right) is shown here with Dusty Johnson. Jeremy reported that these fish were caught in the Red River near Coushatta, Louisiana. The river was rising and very dirty, but they were killing the Flatheads with 10 hoop nets. When cleaning one Flathead, they noticed she had eaten a nearly 2 lb crappie.
Jeremy fishes commercially and fishes other gear in addition to hoop nets. Some of the other gear that Jeremy has bought from FNC includes a seine, trammel net, and trotline supplies.
Pearl River Buffalo
James Paris has a nice net of buffalo fish he caught out of the Pearl River near Bogalousa,
Louisiana.
LSU fan with Mississippi Yellow Cat
Jamie Taylor sent in this picture of his boys with a nice yellow cat out of Pearl River near Sandy Hook, Mississippi.
Trevor is the one with the LSU cap. Andrew is to his left and Reagan is to his right. Looks like the yellow cat is
about as long as Reagan is tall.
